Only Kirby could make devouring someone look cute.

Nintendo’s pink puffball has starred in some fantastic games, and artist Abba Jackson (check out her site here) has celebrated many of them with fanciful animations. Each one captures the spirit of the game it’s representing in just a few seconds

Take Kirby’s Adventure. It’s the first in the series to introduce the hero’s copy ability, so it makes sense to show it off.

Suck it.
Suck it.

And don’t forget the time Kirby starred in his own racing game on the GameCube, Kirby Air Ride.

Weeeeeeeeee.
Weeeeeeeeee.

You can see the rest of the GIFs, which include tributes to Kirby Super Star, Canvas Curse, and more, over at Jackson’s site.
