Zynga starts testing Empires & Allies as a modern military combat game on mobile

Zynga shed more light today on a new mobile version of the action-strategy game Empires & Allies. The social gaming company said it has begun geography-locked testing of this game in Canada, Australia, and New Zealand, and it plans to launch the action-strategy game as its first entry in that genre in the coming months.

Zynga made the announcement as part of its fourth-quarter earnings release.
