Zynga announced today that it’s bringing its Texas Hold’Em-based mobile Poker title to PC via Steam. The game is available on the platform starting today. Alongside the PC launch, Zynga Poker also supports crossplay across the game’s three platforms, meaning players can enjoy their digital card shenanigans across PC, mobile and web with one account.
Zynga Poker launches on Steam with the same features as on its other platforms, with multiple modes and tournaments. Crossplay enables anyone with an existing account to jump back into their games, as collections and friends are consistent across platforms. Players who begin playing on Steam get a reward of up to 26,000,000 chips to play with in the game.
In addition to being Zynga’s inaugural game, Zynga Poker is one of the company’s longest-running free-to-play titles, having originally launched in 2007 as a web-based title on Facebook. The company has consistently launched updates for the title, including multi-table tournaments last year.
Yaron Leyvand, Zynga’s EVP of mobile games, said in a statement, “Since day one, Zynga’s mission has been to connect the world through games, and with Zynga Poker, it’s always been about delivering the best Texas Hold’Em experience possible to players, whenever and wherever they’re playing. Bringing Zynga Poker to Steam gives our audience a chance to play, compete, and connect on the largest PC platform. This milestone reflects our awesome community that’s kept the virtual tables full for nearly two decades.”
