Disco Elysium developer ZA/UM Studio release Zero Parades: For Dead Spies on PC

ZA/UM Studio, of Disco Elysium fame, has announced that Zero Parades: For Dead Spies is now available for $39.99 on PC (Steam, GOG, Epic Games Store). The game arrives to exceptional critical reception, garnering an 83 rating on Metacritic and OpenCritic. To celebrate the launch, ZA/UM has debuted a cinematic launch trailer.

Zero Parades: For Dead Spies is a spy RPG “immersed in psychological depth, surrealist undertones, and a rich world to explore.” Players control Hershel Wilk, a burnt-out spy (cryptonym: Cascade), returns to the city of Portofiro five years after the greatest failure of her life – the disintegration of her old network.

Painfully aware of her past, now back in-theatre, she is ready to get the crew back together for one last show. On her assignment to Portofiro, players will uncover the secrets of the city, along with those of grand geopolitical powers, and the fabric of reality itself.

“There are plenty of spy stories out there. What we’re doing differently is telling a story about the human condition as it is. You’re not playing a power fantasy of a gadget-ridden action hero. We’re telling a story about the beauty in the flaws of being human,” said narrative director Justin Keenan, in a press release

Zero Parades features full English voice-over. Full text localization will be available in English, German, Russian, Simplified Chinese, and Spanish (Latin America). Eight additional languages are planned and will be added through free updates beginning later this year: French, Italian, Japanese, Korean, Polish, Portuguese (Brazilian), Traditional Chinese, and Turkish (listed alphabetically, not in order of release).

ZA/UM Studio is an independent studio best known for its award-winning RPG Disco Elysium. With offices in Tallinn, London, and Porto.
