Women game much more than you realize, research firm shows

Women gamers have become a force in all corners of gaming, research company SuperData reported today.

More female gamers play role-playing games, PC games (including casual titles), and mobile games than men, the company’s surveys showed. Men lead significantly in first-person shooters and massively multiplayer online games, but women represent slightly more than a third of all players for those titles as well.
