We miss you, Ollie the Magic Bum!
Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater 5 is not a good video game, but it is even worse when you compare it to earlier releases in the franchise. Sure, it’s devoid of character and soul, but at least it’s also broken in several fundamental ways!
Here’s what Activision had to say about it today.
“We are aware of the issues that players have experienced following the launch of Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater 5 and are working with the developer to address these so that we can continue to improve the gameplay experience for all of the Tony Hawk fans who have known and loved this franchise for more than 16 years.”
Wonderful! Somehow I doubt those improvements will reintroduce any fun. For that, we’re gonna have to turn our clocks back a bit and play some old Tony Hawk games.
