Walmart always has to have its own bundle.
Starting today, the world’s biggest retailer will let gamers preorder the Xbox One Special Edition Gears of War bundle for $350. The bundle will be available on November 1 in stores, and it will go head to head against the PlayStation 4 Disney Infinity 3.0 and PlayStation 4 Star Wars Battlefront bundles from Sony.
Microsoft also has a Halo 5: Guardians limited edition bundle ($500 with a 1 terabyte drive) as well as others spread out across a bunch of retailers. Microsoft is also offering an Xbox One with Kinect Bundle, with Kinect games Dance Central Spotlight, Kinect Sports Rivals, and Zoo Tycoon — all for $500 starting in October.
The Gears of War bundle includes the following:
- Cirrus White console and controller
- Access to the Gears of War 4 beta
- Full-game download of Gears of War: Ultimate Edition in 1080p
- Superstar Cole multiplayer skin
- Entire Xbox 360 Gears of War collection able to play on Xbox One at no additional cost
- Five campaign chapters never released on console
- Competitive multiplayer in 60fps with 19 maps and six game modes
