Sure, we've all seen the common "bad-ass space marine" trope of science-fiction games, but the crew cuts of Warhammer 40,000: Kill Team's marines sport particularly sharp corners. I award 10 style points.
Video Blips:
• Warhammer 40,000: Kill Team doesn't need no stinking iron sights while hip-firing walls of bullets at walls of Orks. Top-down shooters carry the rare distinction of summarizing their controls with "Press this button to fire."
Continue after the break for the steampunk Sine Mora, the ragtime Rise of Nightmares, and the addition of actual new content to League of Legends.
• Impractically designed contraptions doesn't tarnish Sine Mora's appealing visuals. This is probably what happens after Hayao Miyazaki sneezes on someone's draft board.
• Turn away from this Rise of Nigtmares trailer if you're squeamish or susceptible to goofy clown music. Thankfully, I jumped clear of my desk at the last second.
• The Dominion update for League of Legends introduces a new map and mode for more mouse-clicking abuse. I wish my keyboard had a spit take command for situations like this.
