Indie developer Uncommon Games has unveiled its gameplay trailer for Animalkind, the cozy open-world town builder game.
In the title, adorable pets pilot ancient mechs and build the town of their dreams. Today’s world premiere showcases biomes, mech abilities, building customization, and the cast of lovable animal pals who’ll help you craft, cook, explore, and uncover the mysteries in this online post-paw-calyptic world.
In tandem with the trailer, Uncommon Games has launched a free playable demo, now available on Steam. The demo offers a slice of what players can expect of Animalkind’s relaxing exploration, resource gathering, NPC companions, minigames, and online fun with up to 4 people.
This playable slice introduces a redesigned island, a wide range of new decorations for your town, new gameplay elements, as well as some improvements to controller support, the user interface, and more. Please note, however, that the demo does not feature multiplayer co-op, and the feature will be reserved for the full game launch.
