As revealed by a new story trailer unveiled at Gamescom 2027 Opening Night Live, Turok Origins has been delayed until Spring 2027.

The game was originally set to release in Fall 2026 for Windows, Nintendo Switch 2, PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X and Series S, but this has now been officially pushed back.

Turok Origins is a reboot of the classic Turok series and will see players battle a sentient tribe of dinosaurs in both first-person and third-person combat.

Players will be able to unleash devastating attacks on enemies with powerful weapons and abilities in both first-person and third-person action, harnessing fallen foes’ DNA to upgrade their arsenal.

Embark on a high-stakes adventure across the treacherously beautiful Lost Lands, on your own or together with friends, and unravel the mysteries that hold the key to saving humanity.

Rather than stepping into the shoes of former protagonist John Turok, Origins will see players take the role of a member of a tribe called the Order of the Turok, freeing the planet of Xenia from the hostile alien dinosaurs.
