Truck-kun is Supporting Me From Another World?!, the absurdist driving game from developer Strange Scaffold and publisher Frosty Pop, is out now on Nintendo Switch 2. It is also receiving a significant update on the same day on PC, which will come to Switch 2 and Xbox in the near future.

Previously released on Xbox Series X|S and Steam earlier this year, Truck-kun is Supporting Me From Another World?! is a vehicular action and visual novel mash-up, inspired by Japanese isekai. It tells the story of Carissa, a young woman climbing through the corporate ranks, who is then hit by a truck and transported to the fantasy world of Talinfold.

To get home, the player, who takes the role of the truck driver, must hit as many pedestrians, cars, billboards, you name it, to isekai helpful resources to her dimension and help her fight off waves of enemies. Together, you attempt to unlock the Galactic Gate, defeat the Skeleton King, and claim his legendary Scroll of Resurrection.

Truck-kun is Supporting Me From Another World?! is a humorous, OVA-sized spin on the “truck-kun” isekai meme, inspired by the long-running anime and manga trope of protagonists being transported to fantasy worlds after being hit by a delivery truck. True to Strange Scaffold’s style, the game blends absurdist comedy with personal storytelling as its characters find unexpected connection and surmount impossible odds.

Truck-kun is Supporting Me From Another World?! is available now on Nintendo Switch 2 for $19.99.
