Thinky Games, a grassroots community and website dedicated to cerebral and problem-solving games, has announced that its Thinky Direct show will return for its second year on Thursday, May 28, 2026.
The online showcase will feature more than 40 puzzle and thinky games, including world premiere reveals, new demos, launch dates, and updates on upcoming titles.
The one-hour showcase will be broadcast at 10 a.m. PDT / 1 p.m. EDT / 6 p.m. BST via YouTube, Twitch, and Steam.
The event will also kick off the Cerebral Puzzle Showcase, organized in partnership with Draknek & Friends, featuring a week of puzzle game demos and discounts on Steam.
According to a press release, “We believe thinky games are for everyone. If you enjoy relaxing with a crossword, figuring out whodunit before the TV detective does, or wrapping your head around an intriguing riddle, we think you’ll love these games. Logic games, detective games, mystery games, strategy games, math games, adventure games — there are so many wonderful thinky games to discover.”
The company website states, “Thinky games are those you love to solve — all about careful reasoning, rather than fast reflexes or dexterity. If you find yourself thinking through a problem and then, when the insights finally dawn on you, exclaiming “aha!”, you’re probably playing a thinky game.”
Thinky Direct debuted in 2025 and featured award-winning game makers like Akupara Games, alongside major reveals such as The Mermaid Mask, the long-awaited return of the Tangle Tower series.
