The wacky things Call of Duty fans will be doing at XP event

The sold-out Call of Duty XP fan event is well under way at The Forum in Inglewood, Calif., in the heart of Los Angeles. The event features all sorts of crazy activities for the thousands of die-hard Call of Duty fans who are attending the event. I got a preview of them yesterday, and GamesBeat’s Giancarlo Valdes is also checking them out over the weekend.

The anchor of the event is the Call of Duty World League Championship, where 30 of the world’s best Call of Duty: Black Ops III teams will face off for $2 million in prizes. An estimated 4,000 to 6,000 people will watch the final on Sunday, where the winning team will walk away with $800,000. Fans can also go into big tents to play Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare multiplayer, Zombies in Spaceland co-op mode, and Call of Duty: Modern Warfare Remastered multiplayer. Also on display is the new downloadable content, Salvation, for Call of Duty: Black Ops III. (See more of our Call of Duty XP coverage here).
