The Tekken shoot-em-up is no joke.

Originally revealed on April Fools’ Day this year, most people assumed that Bandai Namco’s Tekken and Galaga crossover was just a mock-up. Well, it’s actually real and heading to iOS devices in Japan as a free download on April 30, according to Siliconera.

Galaga Tekken replaces the spaceships from the seminal shoot-em-up with characters from the Tekken fighting franchise. It’s a strange mix that Bandai Namco has put together to celebrate Tekken’s 20th Anniversary.

Bandai Namco is generally looking to make more impact in a mobile gaming market which could hit $30 billion this year. The Japanese developer and publisher is teaming up with mobile developer Roadhouse Interactive on a new mobile IP, and it recently opened up some of its most popular characters to Japanese developers.

Tekken 7 is the latest actual instalment in the popular fighting series. It’s currently enjoying a worldwide arcade release and is also heading to PlayStation 4 and Xbox One. Bandai Namco hasn’t announced a console release date yet.
