Scopely announced today that Monopoly GO is collaborating with another entertainment legend: The First Family of television, the Simpsons are not only coming to the popular mobile game for the month of June, but they’re bringing all of Springfield with them. From June 3 through July 29, the game’s iconic locations and mechanics will get a Simpsons-themed reskin, including runs starring the famous characters, themed Shutdowns and Heists and the chance to bribe Chief Wiggum to stay out of jail.

Scopely and The Simpsons‘ creators have also reinvigorated the rivalry between Mr. Monopoly and Mr. Burns in a new animated short. Both companies noted how how long it’s been since The Simpsons graced a mobile game with its presence — 13 years, according to Scopely. The game will also featured narrative-driven episodes set in Springfield that roll out every two weeks.

Victor Diaz-Roig, Scopely’s president of games, said in a statement, “Working closely with The Simpsons creative team, our talented gamemakers at Scopely set out to do much more than simply place Springfield inside the game; we wanted to build an entirely new shared universe where these iconic characters, stories and gameplay experiences could cross over. Every part of the season was designed with our Tycoons in mind, introducing fresh ways to play the game they love, while opening the doors for Simpsons fans to step into Monopoly GO for the very first time.”

Matt Selman, executive producer and showrunner on The Simpsons, added, “The Simpsons has always been incredibly collaborative, so when we bring Springfield into a new space — especially mobile gaming for the first time in many years — finding partners who really understand the humor and spirit of the show matters a lot. The Scopely team brought a ton of creativity and attention to detail to this experience, and they packed the game with jokes, references and weird little surprises that fans will have fun discovering.”
