We recently ran a story on Mini Sega Taikan cabinets that included some great-looking examples of Space Harrier, Out Run, After Burner, and several more Sega classics. Since then, we’ve also discovered a gentleman who’s crafted some of the most detailed arcade cabinets ever made. The titles that Justin Whitlock re-creates are from all over the arcade spectrum, not just one company [via Technabob].

His original line includes hits like Tempest, Galaga, Pac-Man, and Donkey Kong. Recently, he released several more, including Asteroids, Millipede, Sinistar, and Terminator 2, complete with gun controls. Whitlock’s attention to detail is so great that even images from the game are displayed on the monitor.

These are amazing works of art and run for a very reasonable $20 to $25. Check out examples after the jump, and view all of his available cabinets on his Flickr page.
