More than 170,000 people went to the 2015 International CES in Las Vegas last week. But if you weren’t there, checking out our photo gallery is the next best thing. For something like the 18th time, I toured the exhibit floors and press events of CES for thousands of steps each day.
CES is always bursting with color. Sensory overload is the norm, and that’s why vendors turn to outlandish gimmicks like booth babes or Elvis impersonators to grab your attention. The Consumer Electronics Association said the record-breaking show had more than 3,600 exhibitors across 2.2 million net square feet of space in the cavernous Las Vegas Convention Center and the Sands Expo. We saw all the bling, from a beautiful Samsung 4K SUHD TV to a $6,000 Lamborghini smartphone. And we spotted celebrities like civil rights leader Jesse Jackson and skateboarder Tony Hawk.
