The publisher revealed Kirby, a new game for Switch due out in 2018. The company showed the flying pink fluff ball running around with up to three other Kirby characters through familiar levels from the series.
In the new trailer, Nintendo showed Mario’s new power: the ability of possession. If Mario throws his hat on an enemy, he can take it over. For example, if Mario puts hits hat on a koopa, a dinosaur, or a car, he becomes that object, and the koopa, dinosaur, or car will grow a mustache.
The publisher announced the new game at the Electronic Entertainment Expo tradeshow in Los Angeles. Nintendo didn’t show any details about the new game beyond the logo, but it revealed that it is coming to Switch and in development now.
