This will pit the best teams in the world against one another in the SWAT-team simulator while giving up-and-coming squads a chance to get into the Pro League through weekly tournaments. A $150,000 prize pool is up for grabs this season, and teams can register with ESL, the organizer that is managing the Pro League.
The publisher revealed today at its Electronic Entertainment Expo press briefing that Angela Bassett will star in Rainbox Six Siege, which is due out Oct. 13 for PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC.
The company has the next chapters in Assassin's Creed and Rainbox Six to show off at the Electronic Entertainment Expo, but says it will bring new announcements and original games to the show, including its new Tom Clancy RPG.
