Loot Interactive prepares for its post-PlayStation Home future: going indie, with 3 games debuting at E3

Loot Interactive establishes itself as an independent games publisher as of today, with three new games debuting at this year’s E3 Expo. The Culver City, Calif.-based studio was formerly known as Loot Entertaiment, and had developed goods and apps for PlayStation Home, NHL, NBA, MLB, and others.

Evolve gets a new, free, and faster-paced Arena Mode

The multiplayer shooter gets a new mode today, and it’s completely free. Arena Mode takes the 4-vs-1 gameplay — where four players take on a monster that a fifth controls — and puts it inside smaller arenas (hence the name). This ditches some of the normal game’s long and sometimes tedious tracking of the beast.
