Super Smash Bros. demake: Not legit but it's free, has online multiplayer, and you can play it now

I’m finding it harder and harder to wait for the new Smash Bros. games for the Wii U and 3DS. I want to watch Nintendo characters beat each other silly right now! And don’t tell me to play one of the old ones. I crave something new.

If you’re like me, Super Flash Smash is your best alternative before the real thing comes out. It’s a Flash-based demake of Smash Bros. that features pixellated graphics. Despite the retro art style, it has a lot of the same features as the real thing, plus it has some cool characters (like Kingdom Heart’s Sora) that you’re unlikely to ever find in an official entry.

Plus, the newest version just added online multiplayer. You can get a better idea of how Flash Smash looks and plays by watching the video below.

Pretty cool, huh? You can download Super Flash Smash right now here. Meanwhile, the official 3DS Smash Bros. comes out on Oct. 3, with the Wii U version following later in the year.
