When it comes to Street Fighter V, it appears nothing’s secret.
Shoryuken, a popular hub for the fighting game community, is reporting that users have been data-mining the files of the Street Fighter V beta, pulling out a lot of interesting information. Community member AceKombat has spotted something audio that calls out every character in the game, including seven that have not been announced yet. If the information is legit, I did better than I thought at guessing who the six unlockable characters are.
GamesBeat reached out to Capcom, and the company said that it has not made any announcements.
The seven new characters that are supposedly revealed here are: Fan/Fun, Alex, Guile, Ibuki, Boxer, Juri, and Urien. Out of all of these characters, Fan/Fun is the only name that is unfamiliar, suggesting a brand new character to the series.
