Street Fighter II for Virtual Boy is red and amazing

The Virtual Boy is probably Nintendo’s biggest failure. That’s probably because it wasn’t very portable and hurt your neck to actually use, but it also didn’t have very many good games.

Finally, 18 years after its release, someone is trying to save the visor console by releasing Street Fighter II: Hyper Fighting for the device, as first reported by Retro Collect (via NeoGAF). Street Fighter II: Hyper Fighting is publisher Capcom’s 2D brawling game for arcade, Super Nintendo, Sega Genesis, and more, but it never saw release for Virtual Boy.
