Starlight Games unveiled House of Golf VR on the Meta Quest platforms as combined mixed reality and virtual reality mini-golf title.

The game, launching on October 30, transforms any space into a personalized mini-golf adventure, blending physical and virtual worlds by allowing players to merge their real-world surroundings with imaginative digital elements, redefining how mini golf can be played.

Using cutting-edge passthrough mixed reality, everyday spaces such as living rooms, kitchens, garages, and even gardens and offices can be transformed into dynamic courses. Players can also immerse themselves in vibrant VR locations filled with interactive puzzles and competitive championships, while discovering mystery boxes that hide rare golf balls.

With hundreds of course pieces, hazards, and whimsical items, from mechanical cranes to hot air balloons, creators can design the ultimate mini-golf experience anywhere.

Every course can be recorded, photographed, and shared with the community, encouraging creativity and discovery…Where will you build?

“House of Golf VR is all about playful innovation,” said Gary Nichols, CEO at Starlight Games, in a statement. “We’ve created something truly special a game that gives players the tools to bring their imagination to life, whether that means turning their living room into a golf course or escaping into our beautiful VR world.”

House of Golf VR will be available on Meta Quest 2/3 and 3S on October 30. Starlight Games is a Liverpool-based games studio developing cross-platform titles, including the successful 2024 release of House of Golf 2, with additional projects currently in production.
