Bit Reactor and Lucasfilm Games have unveiled a significant portion of the voice cast for “Star Wars Zero Company,” the upcoming single-player turn-based tactics game set during the Clone Wars era, ahead of a dedicated panel at San Diego Comic-Con this weekend.

The cast of Zero Company includes Jonathan Freeman and Erica Luttrell, who share voice duties on protagonist Hawks depending on the player’s choice of a masculine or feminine performance; Rekha Sharma, known for her work on “Star Trek: Discovery,” voices antagonist Kundri Fathom, the leader of a Separatist-aligned cult called the Infinite Coil; and Vic Michaelis, known for “Dropout,” who voices Runa Blask.

Zero Company also features the voices of two veteran “Star Wars” voice performers. Matt Lanter will reprise his role as Anakin Skywalker, a character he voiced in “Star Wars: The Clone Wars” and “Star Wars: The Mandalorian.” Dee Bradley Baker, whose credits span “The Clone Wars” and “The Bad Batch,” voices Trick, one of the game’s playable Operators.

Rounding out the announced cast are JB Blanc as Kabb Uppercut, Judy Alice Lee as Jae Mordant, Alex McKenna as Cly Kullervo, Leo Howard as Bennic Halloren, Dylan Kenin as Visser, Nicole Rainteau as Tel-Rea, Jim Pirri as Neesh Renark, D.C. Douglas as the droid M-3VO (“Meevo”), and Hunter Smith as Typhon.

Developed by Bit Reactor, a studio founded by veterans of Firaxis’s XCOM series, Star Wars Zero Company casts players as a former Galactic Republic officer who assembles Zero Company, an unconventional squad of hired operatives that includes a clone trooper, a Mandalorian, and a Jedi Padawan. The team’s mission is to track down and stop Fathom before the Infinite Coil can further destabilize the galaxy.

Character customization is a core feature of Star Wars Zero Company. Both Hawks and recruited Operators can be built using eight species from the “Star Wars” universe: Devaronian, Human, Neimoidian, Ovissian, Togruta, Twi’lek, Weequay, and Zabrak. Players can adjust voice, appearance, combat specialization, and talents as they progress.

Members of the Zero Company cast and development team will discuss the game in more detail during a panel at San Diego Comic-Con on Saturday, July 25, from 4 to 5 p.m. PT in Room 6BCF. The panel will feature Bit Reactor narrative and cinematic director Aaron Contreras, Lucasfilm creative executive Kelsey Sharpe, and cast members Dee Bradley Baker, Jonathan Freeman, Rekha Sharma, and Vic Michaelis, and will be moderated by Michael Peyton of IGN.
