A skin pack featuring characters from the Star Wars: Rebels cartoon hit the Xbox One and Xbox 360 versions of the popular block-building game today for $3.
Microsoft bought Mojang, the company behind Minecraft, for $2.5 billion last September. Although the game is available for other platforms, including rival Sony’s PlayStation 4, exclusive content like this for Microsoft’s consoles is a benefit of the acquisition. A skin pack featuring classic Star Wars characters came out last November.
Star Wars: Rebels is a cartoon on Disney XD that takes place five years before the events of A New Hope. It features a mostly original cast, which the 23 character skins represent in the Minecraft pack:
