Can’t kill progress, Square Enix teases.

Game publisher Square Enix announced that it would use game streaming platform Twitch to reveal its newest game through what it calls a “unique, three-day interactive experience” from one of its Western studios, says a recent tweet. While the Amazon-owned live video game-streaming platform isn’t normally used to announce new titles, its audience of 65 million users and more than 1 million game-focused content streamers provides a good base to break new ground.

Square Enix’s own Twitch channel hosts this multiday experience starting today. As of now, the stream shows a motionless body laying in an empty room. It has been that way for some time now.

Given that Square Enix notes that the game is coming from one of its Western studios, an announcement of a new Deus Ex or Hitman is likely, though it’s entirely possible that a new property is in the works. A teaser image attached to the tweet names “Project CKP” and depicts some kind of metallic chair. A later post featured the hashtag #CantKillProgress.
