South Korean mobile giant Nexon will acquire Boolean Games, makers of the Dark Avenger series

Darkness comes to Nexon with a new acquisition.

South Korean mobile company Nexon will acquire Boolean Games, the developer of the popular Dark Avenger mobile role-playing games, a series which has seen over 30 million downloads worldwide since launch. This move will allow Nexon to use the popular hack-and-slash franchise to strengthen its free-to-play gaming business in the West, giving the company a greater reach into a mobile games market that could hit $30 billion this year (according to market research firm Newzoo).
