Most of us think of The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time as a long, epic game. For the new record-holding speedrunner, not so much.

Twitch user Jodenstone has beaten the Nintendo 64 classic in 18 minutes and 7 seconds, as originally spotted on Reddit. This beats the previous record of 18 minutes and 10 seconds by Cosmo.

Three seconds might not seem like a lot, but that’s a huge difference in a complicated speedrun. The slightest mistake can cause a player precious fractions of a second. For the new record, Jodenstone had to play a practically perfect game. Of course, he also had to exploit a few time-saving bugs, including one that allows a player to move from the first dungeon all the way to the final boss.
