LOS ANGELES — SmartGlass is getting a little smarter. Microsoft detailed just what its multiscreen software is capable with Xbox One Games.

For Crytek’s Ryse: Son of Rome, you can begin your multiplayer and single-player game via another device using Smartglass. Microsoft also showed a new feature called Upload Studio using the newly revitalized Killer Instinct fighting game (exclusive to Xbox One). With Upload Studio, the presenters seemingly uploaded a clip of their match to the cloud to share with friends — you can also record commentary and wrap a “thematic skin” around the video. The clip ends with the name of the uploader.

Microsoft also used Killer Instinct to show off a third feature: real-time streaming from your Xbox One. The publisher partnered with Twitch so that players can instantly stream their game to their friends.
