Sleepagotchi, the AI-powered wellness platform that utilizes sleep data for personalized intelligence and rewards, has surpassed 2.2 million registered users.

Sleepagotchi has surpassed 2.2 million all-time users across its main mobile app and LITE
companion experience. The milestone comes as the platform’s daily active users (DAUs)
reach 78,688, driven by momentum following the launch of the AI Sleep Coach MVP in May.

For the sleep-tech sector, known for high churn rates, Sleepagotchi said its engagement profile is anomalous. Users exhibit a distinctive “barbell” usage pattern, concentrating activity in the
first 10 minutes after waking and the final 30 minutes before bed, averaging 1.5 sessions per
day. This twice-daily, book-ended usage is one of the strongest leading indicators of
product-market fit in the category and Sleepagotchi said sustains it without requiring users to own an expensive wearable.

Kenny Wood, CEO of Sleepagotchi, said in a statement, “The hardest part was never building a next-gen sleep tracker. It was making a nightly routine genuinely habit-forming. People come back to Sleepagotchi twice a day, morning and night, because the product earns that attention on its own merits. That’s the behavior we set out to build, and the data now shows we’ve built it.”

The growth story behind the numbers reinforces the claim, with Sleepagotchi’s main app
registering over 300,000 new unique users on iOS and Android over the trailing 12 months, peaking at roughly 180,000 in a single month. After an expected normalization period, DAUs re-accelerated sharply in June 2026 climbing from as the AI Sleep Coach and the first agentic features rolled out to the user base.

Sleepagotchi said its device-agnostic approach is central to its differentiation: users connect any wearable (such as Whoop, Oura, Apple Watch, etc.) or simply use their phone’s sensors.
The platform’s proprietary machine learning achieves over 90% wake-detection accuracy in
internal testing on device-free, phone-sensor tracking, removing the single biggest barrier to
adoption in sleep-tech. Four coordinated AI agents, a live Sleep Coach, plus a Wellness Coach, Meal Planner, and Shopping Agent rolling out soon, aggregate fragmented health
data into daily intelligence briefs and personalized recommendations.

“With the global sleep-tech market estimated at roughly $150 billion and growing 12% to 15%
annually, we’re combining habit-forming design, device-free entry, and AI-driven intelligence
to capture genuine engagement, not just downloads — for the foreseeable future,” Wood said. “We’re excited to see how positive an impact Sleepagotchi can have on users’ sleep and, ultimately, their overall wellbeing.”

Sleepagotchi continued compounding growth, forecasting over 330,000 core monthly active
users (MAUs) within the next 12 months as it layers personalized AI recommendations and a
premium tier onto its engaged base.

The platform operates across more than 100 countries, with particularly strong footholds in
the United States, Japan, Germany, and South Korea. Strategic partnerships span Brave
browser, Solana, Seeker, STEPN, BONK, OKX, and Gate.io, among others.

Sleepagotchi said it is building the Intelligence Layer for the Wellness Economy. The AI-powered platform connects users, AI agents, integrated wearables, wellness tools, and marketplace partners to power personalised intelligence, rewards, and permissioned data value.

Founded in 2022 and headquartered in Cambridge, Massachusetts, Sleepagotchi started
with gamified sleep rewards and is now expanding into a broader wellness ecosystem
powered by AI agents, health management tools, wearable integrations, gamified rewards,
marketplace access, partner campaigns, and future permissioned data opportunities.

The platform is designed to help users turn fragmented health signals into personalized
intelligence, better daily habits, and long-term user-owned data value. Find out more and
