The audio technology company San Sound has previewed its upcoming competitive gaming wired-earbuds, dubbed Sanwear Hardwire, ahead of its limited release in Q1 2026.
The Sanwear Hardwire is wired-earbud audio redesigned from the ground up for today’s demanding users—whether you’re a competitive gamer, an audio-obsessed professional or someone who simply refuses to compromise on sound.
With its built-in “Audio Cortex” including a lossless DAC + dedicated amplifier, plus hybrid planar-dynamic drivers tuned for ultra-wide dynamic range and holographic spatial audio, Hardware aims to raise the baseline for what a wired in-ear monitor can be. They will cost $99 at launch.
It combines zero-lag, USB-C connection, braided 48-inch cable, built-in ENC mic, customizable action button and RGB pulse lighting—merging high-fidelity studio hardware with the practicality of a basic plug-in design.
Also to note, San Sound is working with six-time Street Fighter World Champion (and The Video Game Awards 2025 Nom for Best Esport Athlete) Menard to make Hardwire the standard for competitive play. I’ve got a pair from the company and am looking forward to trying it out.
