Money can’t buy happiness, but Rockstar is hoping that digital cash can buy some forgiveness.

The developer announced today that it is giving Grand Theft Auto: Online players $500,000 in GTA$ — the title’s in-game currency — to thank gamers for putting up with some of the game’s broken features. Since its launch earlier this month, GTA: Online has seen a number of connection issues and other bugs. That includes a devastating glitch that caused some players to lose their progress.
