Evil continues to linger.
The latest entry in Capcom’s horror series, Resident Evil: Revelations 2, shipped 1.1 million copies worldwide, as Destructoid reports. Capcom got the number by counting retail versions of the game and season passes (which allowed players to download each of the five episodes of the game as they became available).
Of course, shipped doesn’t mean sold, but it’s still an indicator that Resident Evil: Revelations 2 is performing well. It helps that the game is available on a large number of platforms: PlayStation 4, Xbox One, PlayStation 3, Xbox 360, Vita, and PC.
Resident Evil is usually a reliable franchise for Capcom. Even the poorly received Resident Evil 6 sold 5.2 million copies worldwide.
