Distinct Possibility Studios is launching its Foundation Alpha for its Reaper Actual first-person shooter game, giving players the first opportunity to experience the game in its earliest external playtesting phase.
Reaper Actual Foundation Alpha Bundles will be available starting today at 9 a.m. Pacific time on the Epic Games Store and at: ReaperActual.com.
Reaper Actual is the new game coming from John Smedley’s startup Distinct Possibility Studios.
Foundation Alpha Series 1 Bundles
Join the community and be amongst the first players to step foot in the world of Reaper Actual and to see first-hand how the island of Marova and the gameplay evolve over time.

Foundation Alpha gives players a fantastic option to join the team early and test the game. As the game moves through its phases of Alpha and Beta testing, Foundation members will be part of the team helping Reaper Actual achieve its goals of defining the next generation of online persistent shooter games. All Foundation Alpha players will gain access to try new maps, scenarios and features as they are introduced, and receive perks and supply drops, as well as badges and indicators of their support both in–game and on the Reaper Actual Discord.
There are three different Foundation Alpha bundles available in Series 1 allowing players to choose the version that they like the best based on the play styles that suit them. The company will roll out additional series and bundles over the course of the Foundation phase.

The Standard Edition comes with a Bunker Base and 1 Reaper – Havoc, and includes:

Reapers will evolve over time and so will the features and gameplay. Foundation players will have a front row seat to the action, the ability to play in the earliest external playtests, and can give the development team feedback as a part of the Foundation Alpha community.
Servers will initially be available from 9AM-6PM PDT Weekdays with additional play time blocks added during the course of the Foundation Alpha phase.
Web3 Versions of Foundation Alpha
Versions of the Foundation Alpha bundles with Web3 elements are also available at ReaperActual.com which will allow players to participate in the Web3 marketplace and own NFT versions of their bundles, and once opened, individual bases and Reapers.
The Web3 bundles are extremely limited with just 10,000 bundles available in the Series
1 Genesis offering, which will be released in two phases, an initial 2,000 Series 1 Genesis, and another 8,000 bundles in Series 1 Genesis 2. Each Series will have in-game benefits that differ over time based on how early players join the Foundation phase and additional Series will be released throughout the Foundation phase.
The first wave is available to purchase today, with more to follow for balanced server testing. Players who decide to purchase a Web3 powered version of the game, built on
Etherlink, will have access to trade Reapers, bases, and cosmetics through the marketplace and gain enhanced ownership. This marketplace operates separately and
never impacts gameplay balance and provides maximum choice for how players prefer
to own and trade their collection.
