Razer unveils new Xbox One controller designed for esports

Razer wants to give you an edge.

Gaming peripheral maker Razer has unveiled a new controller for the Xbox One, the Razer Wildcat, today at the PAX fan convention in Seattle.

The controller includes removable triggers, optional rapid fire support, and optional rubber palm grips. Microsoft is making its own premium controller, the Elite, which comes out on October 27. Other tournament Xbox One controller makers include Mod Junkies, PowerA, and Cinch Gaming.

“The Razer Wildcat for Xbox One is the third generation Razer Xbox controller and the result of years working with esports athletes on many prototypes,” said Min-Liang Tan, Razer co-founder and chief executive officer, in a press release sent to GamesBeat. “The lightest tournament-grade controller in its class with additional remappable buttons gives gamers an incredible edge.”
