Player Omega partners with Super League Gaming for esports tour to smaller cities

Player Omega is working with Super League Gaming to bring an esports tour across the United States. It’s a different approach to competitive gaming, trying to foster events in smaller locales. The partnership begins with Player Omega’s first-ever event November 9-10 in Pomona, California (that’s a town 30 miles east of Los Angeles).

While companies such as Metarama put on esports festivals (though it’s been canceled now), mixing competitive sports with music, Player Omega is about expanding esports in areas that the Dreamhacks and StarLeagues don’t visit. A spokesperson said it’s the only venture attempting this in the esports marketplace.
