Frontier Developments launched a free update for Planet Coaster that celebrates the them park simulator’s first anniversary. Planet Coaster launched for PC on November 17, 2016.

Planet Coaster has over 1 million players, Frontier noted on Twitter in August. The studio took advantage of sim fans hungry after missteps from the RollerCoaster Tycoon franchise (Frontier itself worked on RollerCoaster Tycoon 3 in 2004). The studio has supported Planet Coaster with a mix of free updates and paid downloadable content.

The anniversary update adds three new roller coaster types: Hop The Gaps, Cascade, and Zenith. It all brings two new smaller rides, the Weisshorn and the Monte Leone. The update also adds new scenery items and a Staff Management Building for your park’s employees.

The anniversary content includes a new Scenario Editor. This give players the abilities to start a park and then create objectives for other players to finish. As with rides, parks, and other creations, you can share Scenarios in the Steam Workshop.
