Owlchemy Labs reveals new job sim VR title Dimensional Double Shift

Owlchemy Labs today revealed its new VR game: Dimensional Double Shift. In the vein of the studio’s previous games, the new title is a job simulation game; however, unlike previous titles, it is also a multiplayer game, featuring co-op for up to four players. The game’s open beta, dubbed “The Trainee Program,” launches on September 26 for Meta Quest headsets as part of its early access release.

According to Owlchemy, the game takes place at an interstellar diner/service station called the Gas ‘N Grill. Players have to run both the diner and the garage simultaneously, working together to cook and serve food to extradimensional beings and aliens while simultaneously servicing their spacefaring vehicles. The game’s big selling point is the complex hand interactions, as players must manage various complex tasks at the Gas ‘N Grill, while hopping several dimensions to do so.
