Oregon Trail and nearly 2,400 classic games now available to play free in your browser

The Internet Archive just released a treasure trove of nearly 2,400 computer games, as part of a new project, “Console Living Room,” to make classic games free and browser-friendly.

Perusing these old MS-DOS games is a trip down memory lane; there’s far (far) too many available to play them all in a year. So we’ve selected some gems for you to play right now (they’re embedded in the post).
