A recently announced virtual reality open platform welcomes several new supporters.
The Open Source Virtual Reality ecosystem now has backing from 38 members as of Feb. 10, adding 13 new supporters such as software companies SoftKinetic and Sonic VR. These new additions join the group’s initial backers, which includes input device manufacturers Virtuix and LeapMotion and game developers Techland (Dying Light) and Gearbox Software (Borderlands).
