Nintendo is bringing back the “gotta catch ’em all” Pokémon catchphrase in a new remix music video intended to celebrate the impending launch of Pokémon X and Y.

The video, which features scenes from the various Pokémon television shows, is for the new song “Catchatronic” that takes the “gotta catch ’em all” phrase and original Pokémon show’s theme song and mashes them together in an original tune. This video is also part of Nintendo’s “Gotta Catch Em All” promotion that has fans of the series looking for hidden codes to unlock special items on GottaCatchEmAll.com. In fact, you might find a hidden code somewhere on GamesBeat.com.

Pokémon X and Y are due out Oct. 12 for the Nintendo 3DS handheld. This is the first Pokémon game that Nintendo designed specifically for its 3D portable device. It will take players to a new region and introduce new pocket monsters.
