Nintendo releases Code Name: STEAM update with fan-demanded fast-forwarding

Waiting stinks, and Nintendo knows it.

The publisher has just unleashed an update for its 3DS tactical strategy game Code Name: STEAM that enables players to fast-forward through enemy turns. This is also further evidence that Nintendo is extremely tuned into what its fans are saying. This is part of what seems like a publisher-wide policy to take consumer sentiment into account. It has instituted several policies to ask gamers what they want to see in future updates to releases like Super Smash Bros. for Wii U and 3DS. And it has fixed some of the biggest complaints for its older games when it updates them for re-release. For example, it improved sailing in the HD version of The Legend of Zelda: Wind Waker for Wii U and a number of features in Majora’s Mask for 3DS.
