Nex announced today that sales of its active play system, the Playground, are on track to hit 1 million units sold this month. The company is showcasing the games it plans to launch this coming spring at this week’s Game Developers Conference, or GDC Festival of Gaming.

In addition to all of the above, the company plans to launch the Playground in the U.K. market after its successful launch in the U.S. and Canada. Its spring lineup will include games designed to showcase its intention to appeal to a broader age range and demographics.

The Nex Playground’s spring 2026 lineup of games includes:

  • Avatar the Last Airbender, a full-body experience in which players are an Earthbender participating into a tournament. According to Nex, it plans to make other element-bending experiences.
  • Dora, a Spanish language-learning experience for preschools starring the titular character from Dora the Explorer.
  • Rubik’s Cube, a puzzle game about the iconic toy.
  • Dude Perfect, a gesture-based game based on the trickshots made by the YouTube crew of the same name.
  • What on Earth? (a working title), a motion-controlled trivia game starring animals answering questions for animals on a UFO.

Tom Kang, Nex’s President, said in a statement, “The consumer demand we’ve seen over the past year has been unbelievable, and it validates what we set out to build. Nex Playground has expanded the market by engaging entirely new audiences and also offering solutions beyond what gaming has traditionally offered, creating new opportunities for developers and partners while helping families play together in healthier, more active ways. As we look ahead to 2026, we’re just getting started.”
