Newzoo's latest global mobile game revenue forecast.

Newzoo: Mobile games will grow 4.4% in 2021 to $90.7B

Mobile games will grow 4.4% in 2021 to $90.7 billion, according to the latest report from market researcher Newzoo and its research partner Apptopia.

That’s slower growth than the overall forecast period — Newzoo estimates the game industry will grow at a compound annual growth rate of 11% from 2019 to 2024 — in part because last year’s extraordinary revenue growth during the pandemic is very hard to beat this year. Overall, Newzoo expects gaming to hit $175.8 billion in 2021 and $200 billion in revenue in 2024.
