Mass Effect protagonist Commander Shepard has a penchant for dickery. If he's got no qualms punching a reporter in the jaw, he'd probably wouldn't balk at decking Mother Earth in a similar fashion.
News Blips:
Commander Shepard can doom the galaxy in Mass Effect 3. BioWare Community Representative Mike Gamble revealed in an interview with NowGamer that if players truly wished to hand Earth to the Reapers on a silver platter, they have the capability to do so via multiple "bad" choices. "In Mass Effect 3, the theme is literally galactic extinction," he said. "So the choices that you make can have that much larger consequences, and because of that, you think a little bit harder before making them." The game assumes direct control of your PC, PS3, and Xbox 360 on March 6, 2012.
You may kiss the lizard: The Elder Scrolls 5: Skyrim features same-sex marriage. Bethesda Vice President Pete Hines tweeted a confirmation that players can "marry anyone" in the role-playing epic. He later clarified that not every non-playable character has the hots for your hero, but "any male or female" is fair game. The Elder Scrolls 5: Skyrim comes out on November 11 for the PC, Xbox 360, and PS3.
Porsches won't show up in Forza Motorsport 4. EA, who owns the rights to in-game depictions of the speedy sportsters, apparently yanked publisher Microsoft's permission to include the cars in the upcoming racer. Turn 10 Creative Director Dan Greenawalt wrote in the game's official blog that "for Forza 4, we were looking forward to adding even more Porsche cars. In the end, however, EA couldn't see their way towards collaborating again." [IGN]
