New Balance announced today that it is signing its first gaming ambassador, entering the space to appeal to a new generation of consumers. New Balance’s gaming ambassador is SV2, a.k.a. Eman, a content creator best known for his football and FIFA-related content, as well as running football camps.
Eman’s responsibilities as gaming ambassador include overseeing gaming activations, engaging with brand partners and creating meaningful content for New Balance. In return, the brand will support Eman in growing his community, as they call him a “cultural bridge between the virtual and physical worlds of football.”
Eman said of the new partnership, “Joining New Balance as their first gaming ambassador is a massive honor. I’m excited to show that the future of sport isn’t just physical. It’s digital too. Gaming has become a powerful platform for creativity, competition and community, and I’m proud to represent a brand that recognizes that.”
