Neowiz and Game Jolt have created a game jam centered on projects with a strong narrative focus. Starting on October 31, participants around the world will have 10 days to create an original story game.
The top three projects during the event will be awarded prizes totaling $5,000; $3,500 to first place, $1,000 for second and $500 for third. The game jam is meant to inspire developers and teams interested in making narrative-first experiences that reach audiences globally.
“We’re honored to participate with a partner like Game Jolt to host a game jam that shows how games are more than just entertainment,” said Seungchul Kim, co-CEO of Lies of P creator Neowiz, in a statement. “Over the years, we’ve made it our mission to support narrative-driven game development projects at any level. We look forward to seeing the different creations that come from this event.”

In addition to this game jam, Neowiz is currently hosting the inaugural Neowiz Indie Quest game development contest centered on individual developers, teams and aspiring entrepreneurs interested in developing narrative-driven games. The application to participate closes on January 16, 2026. To learn more about the game development contest, please visit the official website.
Official rules and additional details for the game jam can be found on the Game Jolt website. Participants are able to enter their projects starting tomorrow until Sunday, Nov. 9.
