I recently listed my favorite games of 2023. And since I’ve been making these lists for so long, I decided to look backward for the sake of nostalgia.

Here’s my favorite games of the last 13 years. They’re in chronological order. I think that 2010, 2013, 2016, 2018 and 2020 were fabulous. I like the bookends of the start and the end of this list. I’ve got fond memories of playing the titles over again with family members or joining into multiplayer matches with friends. Most of these titles are triple-A games. Occasionally, a mobile game like Fallout Shelter would appear. It almost made the list, but sadly it was a bit short as an experience.
