Two of the biggest games of the last few years are doing a cross-over just like The Jetsons Meet the Flintstones.

Skyrim publisher Bethesda Softworks, Minecraft developer Mojang, and Microsoft announced today that they are all working together to bring the world of Skyrim into Minecraft: Xbox 360 Edition. The companies will soon release The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim Mash-up pack for Minecraft on Xbox 360, this will bring items, characters, and blocks based on the fantasy realm of Skyrim.

Developer 4J Studios, which is in charge of the Xbox 360 port of Minecraft, is already working on the expansion. The DLC will include 40 character skins, themed menus, new craftable items, and 20 pieces of music from the open-world role-playing title.

The pack also includes a premade Minecraft world based on the Whiterun, Riverwood, and Bleak Falls Barrow areas of Skyrim.

Fans of Minecraft and Skyrim can check out the new pack at the Minecon 2013 event in Orlando, Fla., tomorrow and Sunday.
